Technology images

Upon looking over the images it was obvious that there existed a common theme of technology and machines among all the images. I felt as though some of the images focused a certain aspects of technology and expressed a negative connotation. The image I chose to analyze was one of a man with his head exposed and some form of circuitry attached to his head. As I interpreted the image I felt as thought it was reflecting upon the ever growing demand for technology. Society as a whole has turned technology into a perpetual life force, as important to us as oxygen and water. We are so dependent on technology and on machines, that at times we almost appear to fall right into the mix, becoming just another machine. We begin to forget the very characteristics that separate us from the machines that we create. Every day we a new example of technology produced. Whether it's on Facebook, video games, appliances in the kitchen, technology is being improved and created, invented all the time. Now, while so much of the technology serves for the obvious benefit of man kind, for example medical equipment for surgery and discovering of disease, a lot of technology separates us from the very features that make us human. While we should not hesitate to enjoy some of the many benefits technology has to offer we need not forget our roots. We need to remember the attributes we possess that make us unique and special as individuals, as humans. The image focuses on a broad audience, and should influence humans as a whole. As new generations take steps onto our world there use of technology will only continue to follow the ver increasing trend.
